Breaking Reports: A small-scale and a genome-wide fly RNAi screen

What's on my desk to read today?

A small, focused Drosophila RNAi screen and another that went genome-wide.
Both papers are related to host cell-pathogen interactions.

Serio et al. (2010) Defining a Core Set of Actin Cytoskeletal Proteins Critical for Actin-Based Motility of Rickettsia. Cell Host Microbe 7(5):388-398.

Valanne et al. (2010) Genome-Wide RNA Interference in Drosophila Cells Identifies G Protein-Coupled Receptor Kinase 2 as a Conserved Regulator of NF-{kappa}B Signaling. J Immunol. 2010 Apr 26. [Epub ahead of print].
